Yiiiss Laaads!

Omg i'm so bored man!
I just spent ages playin a game that teaches you where all the states are in America so now I pretty much know where every state is in America.
Dont know when that will come in handy but you never know.

Also me throats pissin me right off as well, got a weird coughy thing coming on and Im not havin it.

Cant wait til Friday/next week until i get a bit of money in the old bank and I can stop scroungin off the rents for a bit. Few jobs in the paper that I will maybe apply for. Bars/ receptionist in a vets but could I handle cleain up all the shite? I think I could, plus you'd get to see lots of cute wee animals and maybe steal a few when no ones lookin.

Shower now! Then maybe I will get off me arse tomorrow and do something. Whiiiile in the mood to get a Yoga mat you know. Apparently they're cheap in poundstretcher, a pound or so. Found easy vids on youtube so I wouldnt even have to spend any money to become a Yogie.

OH! ANNND! Got tickets for Arthurs Day in Cork with KT Tunstall and Paolo Nutini amongst others! WOOOP! Roll on 23rd September for that!

                                                                                   

Film of the week this week is THE SWITCH!

It apparently bombed in its opening weekend in the US but what do they know? I thought it was well good! Just a lovely wee story and the wee boy in it is sooo cute and funny.

Hey no one! I'm back!

Well its been ages again, I did not stick by you blog and for that I apoligise.

Heres a recap on my life since however long it's been.

I went to Portugal with the family in June - good times even though i got badly burned on my arm n legs. Stupid spray on sun stuff i will never put my faith in you again.

Then I went to Liverpool after that to move all our crap outta the house and to catch Blondie in Manchester. That was awesome. Ole Debbie is still rockin. After we left our house was robbed and they took the washing machine and other various kitchen appliances. We are 99% sure it was our next door neighbours but they're welcome to them.

Theeenn i believe I had an awesome family wedding at the end of June which was great craic.

Graduation followed this in July which was also great. Good day and night with my uni mates who I shall miss very much.

Pretty much been dossin about since that, looking for a part time job so I can get money aint easy in this god forsaken town hehe.
Hoping to save up for next year and do a bit of travelling before I look for a job. 

So thats it folks! Very exciting this week as uni friends Hannah and Sam - also known as Hanlar and Samlar shall  be visitin our town for a bitta fun. Cant wait!

OH also just watched the Brothers Bloom which is just friggin awesome. I am already gonna say its gonna be one of my fave films. Its up there with the rest

Also been listening to good ole Sonny and Cher again ha! It's weird the way you drift in and out of listening to certain songs.

Its been a while...

HELLO UNIVERSE!!

My posts have seriously declined in the past while because:
1 - I forgot about it
c - I couldnt really be bothered
and b - Ive been kinda busy which i will tell y'all about in the upcoming present...

SO...
First things first (whatever that means because usually the first thing does come first, its not first things second)

NEW YORK!
We went to NYC for St Paddys Day and I'm gonna post some Pics here and discuss the awesome time we all shared :D
We were only there for 3/4 days but we crammed a lot in :D

< This was the view from a top the Empire State Building! Was pretty awesome but quite scary to look down. The taxis wer just like little insects it was quite mental.




This is me at Rockefeller centre, lookin all swauve (is that how you spell it? i dont think so) with me coat hangin from me ha! We take all this warm stuff n it turns out to be flippin roastin!! Was class :D

30 ROCK!! Awesome show.
Spent a lot of money in the NBC shop but it was totally worth it man.

This Picture i took with my phone and it turned out pretty well i think, it was so warm. Im pretty sure this was St. Patricks day cause that woman there is wearin green. It was just after we left the Parade cause it got a tiny bit boring and our legs were sore haha.

OOOH THE CUPCAKES!!
Best cakes in cups ive ever tasted. They were just so fresh and the icing was just the best on top. We got these free on the Sex and the City tour but we then had to go pay the 3 dollars to get another one. They were too good.
I would walk back to New York for another one of those bad boys.

Probably not but they were nice.




                                                           
This was a well fancy place that we stopped at called Buddakan. This was where they filmed a good few of the interior shots for the SATC film which is weird cause its so small inside. They showed the clip on the bus after which was good to see the way they shot the places. But it was dead nice so we all took a pic with the door haha!

It looks so big in the film which most of the locations did. Everything on tv is bigger so just remember that.

Below is the door where the scene happend, sara actually had a smoke by the sign there, it wasnt a cigar though haha

This was Battery Park n it was well nice!! Took us a mad walk to find the NY water taxis that took us on an hour tour around the island. It was roastin n we were flippin wrecked but jesus did we walk. Was really cool as we went underneath the Brooklyn Bridge and we got to stop right beside the statue of liberty.

Im almost asleep here i was that tired. The tour guide was awesome!! He was like a tour guide rapper if you can imagine that. He was so animated and said a big poem at the start. Was pretty cool.

This was where the Twin Towers used to stand and he was explaining to us about the history which was pretty interesting. One of the new towers have already been completed and he was telling us that the new main tower will stand at 1776 feet and it will again become the tallest building in New York. It is also the year that the US declared independance. Thats a fact straight from me to you.

Also inside that little dome glass building there - real tropical palm trees. Who'd a thunk it?

This was sooo funny! We were waitin on a taxi and a limo pulls up n the guy said he would take us to airport for same price. Well funny and so we left the city in Style haha.



So there you have it!! Theres a lot more photos but it was an awesome place and i will surely go back. Maybe even live there for a while which would be totally awesome. Scary but flippin awesome all the same.

Right now im away to make some food cause im hungry. Ill tell you about it in my next blog. It will be riveting.

So good they named it a couple of times

NEW YORRRRKKK!! NEW YORRRRKKK!!! (concrete jungle where dreams are made of, theres nuthin you cant do...)

Where might that be you ask? Well New York is actually in a place called New York, crazy world.

This time next week I shall be on my way to the city that never sleeps, so good they named it twice and that place Kevin went accidentally that time in Home Alone 2.

Its gonna be awesome and i cant frickin wait! wooop! It will be a St paddys day to remember thats for sure. As well as being in New York we also have the added bonus of maybe spottin ole Jennifer Aniston, whose premiere just happens to be up the road from where we're stayin one of the nights we're there. Im so excited about the whole trip n i just cant wait man! :D

In other news, ive got a lot of work to do this week before i go so im not swamped with it when i get back. Bloody dissertation, essay, presentation, another essay and other stuff n its annoyin me head! At least ill be in new york soon.

Saw Alice in Wonderland yesterday - good show!! Class in 3D and johnny depps a genius.

Havnt been out much as the pennies need to be saved for the holiday and i also went and got me US dollars the other day. Eeep.

Also watched the American version of 'who do you think you are?' last night cause it started in Americurr. Sarah Jessica Parker was on, good show!! she found out her ancestor was accused of bein a witch in the Salem witch trials in the 1600's, its crazy what they have records of! Really interesting stuff.

Watching the oscars tonight via the world wide web. Floyd and I will be stayin up that little bit later to enjoy the comic stylings of Alec and Steve. Sandy B for best actress come on love!

Confuzled.

Right, its snowing again, pretty heavily too. Its the end of Feb for God's sake! Flippin freezin outside and i dont like it.

Also I've ALOT of work on over the next few days/weeks and I will actually jump in the air for pure joy when I've got it all done. Im freakin out about it, going to be in the library for most of the next few weeks! (Except when I'm in NEW YORK WOOOP! its 20 days til we go, oh holy fiddle faddle.)

Just read that Cheryl Cole and that fool of a husband of hers are offically splitting up, i mean if she gets cheated on then there is actually no hope for the rest of us.

Back in Liverpool again anyways for another while (Except when I'm in NEW YORK) and I'm about to go to the Library here and hand in some things and do some work.

Apparently sara says ive got a wee bit of glitter sparkling on my face so i better go and get that sorted before i embaress myself any further.

Home & photos

Thanks to my aunty I successfully surprised the parents yesterday by arriving home out of the blue. Highhhlarious so it was. Good times.

So I'm home for the week, and I dont plan to do much except sit about and enjoy Sky tv again and hopefully see some friends at the weekend. I also now have a doctors appointment because my stupid nose is all messed up. Not in a plastic surgery sort of way, i just cant breath through it very well so i cant wait to get that sorted.

Took some photos today on a fancy camera that has been mostly unused in the house, but i plan to take it back to liverpool and take some nice pictures in the near future.

Here's one i took today of a certain wee dog we call Buster, hes such a poser. He comes and sits beside you and makes sure you get his best angle and everything, hes very demanding.

Almost 21

Birthday party last night for my 21st which is two days away. Was very good fun! Alot of friends came round and we had more fun in the house than we did in town. House party's are great fun because you dont have to queue to get a drink!

Anyhoo had an awesome night and i even got cake which i did not expect! House is an absolute mess today though! The floor is disgusting with everyones feet and it will take a while to clean up! On the bright side some people left some alcohol behind them so happy days! haha

I was lazy today and got a dominoes! woo! you cant beat it :D

We also booked NEW YORK this week!!! YAYYYYY!! Going in nearly 4 weeks for 3 nights!! Its St Patricks day too so it will be awesome, i cant frickin wait! Really have to start saving now!

OOOHHH jeepers it will be class...

Arsing about with glee

My dads been reading these, (hi dad!) so i guess i should keep em going for a while!

Totally forgot about this thing, or maybe i just didnt have anything to blog about!

But dont fret as I am back with another post about absolutely nothing :D
Its Sunday today and I have again done nothing because its God's day and he would be offended if i did.
In uni tomorrow to watch our documentaries, i bet there are gonna be some awesome ones cause guys from my class actually have editing suites in their homes so they are very hardcore with the whole process. Our group was not.

Anyhoo up at half 9 tomorrow and my housemates are urging me to go for a drink soon but i am being sensible and saying no because i wouldnt be able to get up if i did! Ive slept in through enough classes this week (one) and considering its my only class of the week, thats one too many if you ask me.
Plus I have enough alcohol consuming opportunities this week as I am 21 next Monday woop!! So we are having a bday party for me on Friday yay! Cross fingers that no crazies from next door cause a ruccus(did i spell that right? ill check it on google later).

My tv show of this week is....
GLEEEEE!! And also 8 Simple rules but we'll leave that for next week.

Glee is awesome! Basically its about a teacher trying to make the Glee club better and so he has to try and get more students involved in singing and dancing but everyone hates the club and some of the teachers even try to sabotage Glee and the people in it. I thought it would be some stupid cheesy show like high school musical or something else terrible, but its actually really funny and definately worth a watch. The characters are hilarious and its more about the teachers than the students sometimes. The songs are really good too, they mime them in the show but everyone can actually sing although sometimes its a bit cheesy when they dance n stuff, but you ignore it cause its so good. Good show now. :D

A bit of Jam and Jerusalem

The stupid BBC have cancelled the show and its not fair because its bloody funny stuff. If you havnt watched it, you should! Even just for Dawn French's character Rosie, who has a someone in her head called Margaret who tells her what to do and bosses her about. But she does it in a brilliant way its genius! Written by Jennifer Saunders and full of other brilliant actresses (including the former Mrs Doyle, Pauline McLynn) its a show that people of all ages can watch as my mum and dad also find it hilarious.

Jesus its cold!!

Well I'm back in Liverpool again, to a pretty cold house and a crap load of work in the next few weeks. Nooooooo!!
Ive got a seven day edit next week which means i wont see daylight for a while, its gonna be rough times. Basically 8 or 9 every morning to 8 at night, and if we dont get our film edited we are screwed man. Then I've got dissertation stuff to do, which I'm doing on Quentin Tarantino so thats gonna be interesting but time consuming. Then I've got other essays to do as well, oh joy.

The woman next door keeps shouting at her husband alot, she is definately one for the crazy house im tellin you.

In other news, I am hopefully going to New York in March, and also Portugal with the family in the summer, which will keep me going through these work filled months :D
